I’m Going Carnivore

I am challenging myself this month is to drastically shift my diet to increase my energy levels and to provide a greater sense of well-being. In order to accomplish this goal, I am going to spend the four weeks of February on the Clean Carnivore Reset (CCR) diet.

What is the Clean Carnivore Reset Diet?

CCR is an elimination diet that follows the mantra “Eat Beef, Drink Water”. In short, it’s the diet most people immediately jump to when they hear that someone is ‘going carnivore’.

Some people try it for two weeks, just to see how it feels. Others will try it for the full ninety days it takes for the main antibody used in our body to run its full course.

How long you choose to spend on the diet, usually depends on why you are looking at trying the diet in the first place. Just curious? Two weeks is fine. Living in chronic pain and discomfort? Maybe 30 to 90 days is needed.

What is CCR Not?

Unlike the bro-losophy that follows most simple views of the carnivore diet, the CCR diet isn’t meant to be a way of life or a full-time operation. It’s a targeted, elimination diet complete with an end date.

Myself, I aim to stay on this diet for four weeks, starting February 1st and ending on the 28th.
