How Did It Go?

Week 3 and, by extension, this month long challenge, is a success. Creative meal planning, strategic cheat meals, continued benefits. It’s all there.

This week, I did not suffer from ennui, thanks to varied recipes. We tried new cuts of meat as well as shabu shabu, where you cook shaved beef in broth at the table.

The same benefits that I have been seeing since the beginning continued this week. Energy all day, no lack of power at the gym. I am less afflicted by the aches and pains of the workouts as well. GI distress is gone. BMs are normal. GI function is normal. Sinuses are clear, head is clear, anxiety is in check.

And, to top it all off, these benefits are so consistently stable I ate a plate of pulled pork nacho fries. Recovered in one day with zero of my usual side effects. No clogged sinuses the next morning from sour cream and cheese sauce. No instantaneous heart burn from the fresh tomatoes or salsa. I overate and…
